 Performance

This sedan will feature a 3.6L V6 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission, with the Limited edition sporting a 5.7L V8 engine. Test drives indicate 0-60 mph speed of 6.8 seconds for the rear-wheel drive model, while the four-wheel drive version clocked in at 7.1 seconds. Fuel consumption specifications have not yet been released, but the 2016 model was rated at 31 miles on the highway, 19 in the city (23 miles per gallon combined).

 Interior

The interior of the 2017 300 will feature a new two-tone color scheme with piano black trim on the instrument and door panels. Leather-upholstered heated and ventilated front seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel set off a luxury interior. The power seats offer eight-way lumbar adjustment, while the tilting, telescoping steering wheel makes finding your perfect settings easy. The six-passenger cabin boasts 106 cubic feet of room, creating ample head and leg room.

 Features

We are excited about the tech features in this sedan, including the 10-speaker Beats by Dre sound system (some trim packages sport a six-speaker Alpine sound system), Bluetooth audio, Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity and an 8.4-inch touchscreen interface. Voice controls and satellite radio are standard features, while higher end models will sport a power rear-window sunshade, LED cabin lighting and heated rear seats.

 Safety

Like its predecessor, the 2017 model is expected to feature an overhead air bag and dual front impact, occupant-sensing airbags. Traction control, an electronic stability system, anti-lock brakes and anti-whiplash head restraints should also be featured. Three child safety seats should be standard. In responding to consumer concerns, Chrysler has included many of the higher end safety features in even the basic model 300. The 2016 model was given a Four Star Rating by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

With fall comes the release of the new-model-year vehicles, and one that is hotly anticipated at our Chrysler dealership is the 2017 Chrysler 300. This flagship luxury sedan will feature a newly redesigned interior, new tech features and a sportier exterior when it is released. The date has not yet been announced by Chrysler, but according to sources at LimousineReleaseDate, it is expected to be on the market in the first quarter of 2017.

Even though it won't be out for a few more months, we are excited to roll out the new 2017 Chrysler 300. We don't expect these sedans to remain on the lot for long once they get, so call us today to schedule a test drive and get your model ordered.
