As though the Challenger didn't already provide a boisterous thrill very few other vehicles could accomplish, 2019 is looking stronger by the day as Dodge continues handling out great news of the new model year advancements.  This is the most powerful Challenger lineup to date with a power bracket that can suit anything from a daily cruiser to a drag racing contender. The base models of the Challenger bring some class-firsts to the market.  The SXT, powered by the award winning 305 horsepower Pentastar V-6 and paired with a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission, is the most affordable V-6 automatic muscle car available in the segment.  The RWD model starts at $27,295, while the newly available AWD configuration starts at $30,295 MSRP. Not only that, but the exclusive all-wheel drive available on both the SXT and GT base models brings you the only all-wheel drive muscle coupe on the American market.  Meanwhile, their RWD counterparts gain a standard high-performance suspension to further its handling capabilities.

Moving up to the R/T, this high-torque 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 with 375 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque offers the most affordable V-8 engine in the segment, starting at $34,100 MSRP.  The R/T Scat Pack brings an exclusive Widebody form to the market, adding SRT-tuned chassis, stiffer front springs, larger sway bars, high-performance damping suspension, specialized front fascia with integrated splitter, and a Hellcat-borrowed rear spoiler for better downforce and balance.  Additionally, many high-performance features are now standard on all Scat Pack models, such as Launch Control, Launch Assist, Line Lock, SRT Drive Modes, and SRT Performance Pages. With its 392 HEMI V-8, the R/T Scat Pack delivers the most muscle for the dollar in the segment, generating 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque priced at less than $40,000 starting MSRP.  

The Hellcat is more powerful than ever while priced lower than before, saving you more than $5,000 from 2018's starting $65,495 MSRP price.  New for 2019, the Challenger SRT Hellcat receives a standard Tremec six-speed manual transmission. These cars are absolutely loaded with specialized and fine-tuned performance technology, including Adaptive Damping Suspension, Launch Assist, Torque Reserve, Launch Control, Line Lock, larger induction airbox, and much more!  A new dual snorkel hood designs enhances engine cooling and ups the horsepower performance, calling back to previous famous muscle cars of the Dodge brand such as the 1970 Dart Swinger and the 1971 Demon. These systems all boost the SRT Hellcat's output to a new rating of 717 horsepower and 656 lb-ft of torque.

Lastly, while the limited-edition SRT Demon and SRT 392 may have left the lineup for the 2019 year, Dodge debuts the new 797 horsepower Hellcat Redeye.  Borrowed from the SRT Demon, the Redeye is powered by the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI high-output V-8 engine, delivering zero-to-sixty acceleration in a heartstopping 3.4 seconds flat!  This is the most powerful production V-8 money can buy, creating the fastest grand touring production car with just a 10.8-second quarter-mile time and a top speed of 203 miles-an-hour. 25 component upgrades makes this Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye the best of the best, including a larger supercharger, strengthened rod-piston connections, high-speed valve train, fine-tuned fuel injection system, and an improved lubrication system.
