The Ram 1500 offers gasoline and diesel versions. The top engine is a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 outputting 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. If you need even more torque, there’s the diesel model with a 3.0-liter V6 putting out 240 horsepower and an amazing 420 lb-ft. The muscular 1500 offers refined handling and a smooth drive in several configurations. New for 2018 are the Ram 1500 Harvest and Limited Tungsten models (also available on the 2500 and 3500), as well as a remote cargo box switch for the LED bed lights and a standard backup camera. The Rebel model now offers leather trim.
Ram 2500
Ram 2500 provides more power for your towing and hauling needs. You can choose among three engines in 2- and 4-wheel drive configurations. The standard engine is a 5.7-liter V8 outputting 383 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. The 2500 offers a 6.4-liter V8 (also available on the 3500) delivering 410 hp and 370 lb-ft, and a 6.7-liter turbodiesel offering up to 370 hp and 800 lb-ft. If you want leather, climate-controlled seats, the Laramie edition will be a perfect choice. For 2018, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot has been added to the available 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen system.
Ram 3500
The 2018 Ram 3500 with the 930 lb-ft, 6.7-liter turbodiesel providing a 30,000-pound towing capacity when equipped with the new fifth-wheel hitch. Reclining rear seats come with the Mega Cab configuration, and the Crew Cab model has generous-under-floor storage space. You can get bed lengths on the HD Ram trucks from 6 feet 4 inches to 8 feet, a 4-wheel rear axle is available for extra load capacity. An integrated trailer brake is standard on higher trim levels.
