All models offer a standard V-6 3.6L engine, 8-speed automatic transmission, and the option for rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. The high-performance SRT has a V-8 6.4L as its standard engine. Four-wheel drive is standard on the SRT and Trailhawk models. Other options include a 475hp V-8 and a fuel-efficient V-6 turbocharged diesel engine. The Grand Cherokee has high fuel efficiency on all models, offering an impressive 14/20 mpg up to 18/26 mpg. All Grand Cherokee models can handle a 7,400 pound towing capacity. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is the fastest off-road SUV in its class.

 Interior

The Trailhawk includes premium black leather interior. With an impressive 8.4 inch touchscreen display, the Trailhawk displays suspension readings.

The Summit increases the luxury with a completely leather-wrapped interior available in multiple color options. The Summit comes standard with Berber floor mats and a suede headliner.

With a comfortable 5-seat capacity, the Jeep Grand Cherokee is a leader in both the luxury and performance SUV segments. The summit includes a features a 19-speaker 825 watt Harman-Kardon audio system. The 2017 Grand Cherokee also has an enhanced accident response system and a prominent 911 call button. The rearview camera is now standard on the Laredo.

The Trailhawk expands your off-road capabilities with the addition of skid plates, electronic limited slip rear differential, and Kevlar reinforced tires. You can tackle more terrain with the hill ascent and descent controls. In addition to the standard adaptive cruise control, blind spot and front collision warning systems, the Summit offers more standard safety features including a lane departure warning system and an automatic parking option.
